Kal has been in & out of the foster system his whole life and somehow gets mixed up with Cosmos. They quickly become attached to each other and Kal ignores all the quirky things about Cosmos because they are having so much fun together.
It is predictable but still a decent read. The pacing was a bit all over the place, and I think this needed more background info. It almost reads like a lot got left out and the story lacks cohesiveness.
I did think the characters were very sweet/cheesy.

I think this would be a fun read for a 12/13 year old but lacks depth.
