Perfect for fans of supernatural romance and monster love stories, this graphic novel features two mortal enemies, a vampire and a werewolf, falling for each other.
As a teenage vampire, Kieran has always been warned to stay away from werewolves, but everything changes when he falls for Mason—the Alpha’s son.
What started off as disdain, lines drawn in the sand between two opposing sides, quickly turns to fascination after the two share one fateful kiss.
Kieran and Mason know they can’t be together, their communities would never approve. And with every hidden kiss and rendezvous, keeping their secret takes on a whole new set of problems.
Avoiding the eyes of both society and Kieran’s extremist family grows more and more challenging, and as silver blades sharpen, the two must choose to stand up for a love worth fighting for.

The Basics:

Art: 5/5
Characters: 3/5
Everyone is MESSY. This is definitely aimed at a more YA audience and I can finally say… I think I’m too old for all this drama, hahah. That being said, I guess it has a good representation of high school relationships (if you happen to live in Forks, WA).
The characters themselves are a bit hard to like, especially Mason and his ‘alpha complex’ (please that was so funny lol). I did feel a bit bad for Marcella reading this… but how are you going to get with a werewolf when your bff for life is a vampire???
Story/Plot: 4/5
This is a very fast-paced enemies-to-lovers high school romance. Although a bit out of my age range at this point, I was still entertained and would definitely pass this to my younger siblings.
Vol. 1 ends on a major cliffhanger … WHERE IS THE REST GIMME … ok I might’ve just liked this despite my old age.
Writing/Dialouge: 4/5
Overall good. The use of the word hype made me cringe, but I did in fact cackle over the whole, ~I’m not gay. I was THIRSTING for his BLOOD, not HIM.
Would I recommended?
Yes. If you’re looking for a quick entertaining read with lots of petty drama. Would also highly recommended to the intended YA audience.
Extras:
Sweetness: 0/5
nothing sweet about smelly highschool boys
No spice in this but they do smooch at one point.
Second-hand embarrassment: 0/5
pleasantly surprised by this.
