blurb:

Kaoru Mitsuya has all but given up on living a meaningful life. Ensnared at a young age by the temptations of organized crime, he has neither a penny to his name nor anything he holds truly dear. It is at this lowest point that he encounters Yuichiro Shirouzu-a delicately beautiful florist with a secret or two hidden beneath his kind demeanor. When Yuichiro offers Kaoru a job at his nighttime flower shop, it marks a turning point for Kaoru, both in how he lives his life, and whom he wishes to spend it with…

Art: 4/5

Characters: 5/5

They suited each other well. Kaoru (21), someone who was just released from prison and Yuichiro (29) who owns a flower shop that opens at night in an entertainment district.

I think the characters are the best thing about this manga! Yuichiro’s family was really fun to read about.

Story/Plot: 4/5

This was sillier than I thought it would be. When they first meet, Kaoru assumes the beautiful Yuichiro is a woman.

Overall, it’s a short manga with some fluffy moments, but it definitely has the potential to get into more serious topics. I’m quite curious to see how their story plays out.

Writing/Dialouge: 3/5

“Wow, that air of melancholy is kinda sexy.”

I did feel some of the writing was a bit cringey, but nothing too bad. ^ Although I thought that line was quite funny, haha.
