Book Review | The Name of the Wind
For something so iconic, I was at least expecting The Name of the Wind to do the wheel quite well. Maybe some chrome rims or a flashy spoke design. Instead, I found the MC deeply annoying, the women (few that there were) underdeveloped, the magic system derivative, and the conflict cookie-cutter.

So...after getting through the behemoth that was the Stormlight Archive (I still have Rhythm of War left - don't worry, there will be a long post on that series) I am making the ingenious decision to embark upon ANOTHER iconic epic fantasy, The Name of the Wind.
Book Review | Fourth Wing | The Most-Hyped Book of the Year
Pride and Prejudice only has a 4.2. Lord of the Rings has a 4.4. A Court of Thorns and Roses, which is oft-compared to Fourth Wing (a comparison about which I have MANY opinions) has a 4.2. What in the world is up with all this hype for Fourth Wing??
