While I read a comparatively small proportion of contemporary fiction growing up, EJ Books keeps up with the latest and most interesting releases (according to me), particularly translations coming out of East Asian countries and novels by Asian-American authors.
I have always been an avid YA reader and the genre hasn’t lost any of its magic over the years. Some of the books I’m most passionate about are YA: An Ember in the Ashes, Six of Crows, and the OG Terry Pratchett, The Wee Free Men.
