Unbridled by Rachel Grey
Pub. Date: Feb. 7th, 2024 | Pages: 321
A hundred years after The Change split humans into three distinct designations—Alpha, Beta, and Omega—the survivors know what to expect from their assigned place in society.
But The Change isn’t finished with us yet. A new mutation has created a spin-off Alpha designation, leaving the affected with episodes of uncontrollable feral behavior and painful physiological deformities. Painful for Omegas, that is…
My best friend Owen and I are locked in an Omega institute, waiting to be sold to a normal Alpha or Alpha pack. But shady political dealings threaten to turn our futures upside down.
We escape the Institute and its plan to mate us to a Feral Alpha, only to find ourselves locked in a room with one. And he’s far more horrifying than any of the stories we’ve been told – Or is he?
Unbridled is a steamy MF, MM Omegaverse romance (with some crossover between couples) with a guaranteed HEA.
It contains explicit sexual scenes and is intended for readers 18+

I think the writing is good and the world building is all fine and dandy. However, there were just a few things that really threw me off.
Spice: Often & right from the start
The Good
Owen and Sana, the two omega besties, have a cute and interesting relationship. I really enjoyed reading about them.
Although I didn’t particularly like the concept of ‘feral alphas,’ I thought the introduction of the idea added a new and intriguing element to the omegaverse world building.

The Bad & the Really Ugly
The ‘feral’ alphas were just a tad bit… hmm, not really my cup of tea. I mean, I know that was the whole point, but spikes? Reading about it just made me feel icky.
This is a long book, and according to my personal preference, I like these types of books to be short and sweet. If they are long, I usually lose interest and never finish.
I also thought Sana & Owen got along with the twins way too fast, and overall, things get resolved rather easily.
In Conclusion
If you’re looking for a new omegaverse with a Happily Ever After ending, lots of spice, well-written, and not super short, I would highly recommend this book! Although for me, it didn’t particularly scratch the itch I was hoping it would, I completely understand why this book has such great reviews.
