This is going to also be a full review because I just love this manga so much haha.

In this critically acclaimed romantic crime drama, a yakuza granddaughter is sent from Osaka to marry the grandson of a rival family in Tokyo!

Yoshino grew up the sheltered yakuza princess of the largest crime family in Osaka, the Somei. Due to her resting bitch face and dangerous family, no man has ever approached her. When her grandfather signs a truce with the Tokyo-based Miyama crime family, he offers her up as a truce bride to the Miyama leader’s grandson! Kirishima Miyama is popular, charming, and seems totally normal.

But behind his smile is a violent sadomasochist who thirsts for her dominance even more when she impresses him with her moxie! Even though she knows how bad yakuza can be, she’s stunned by Miyama’s viciousness. She can’t turn him down with the East-West peace treaty on the line…so instead she steels herself to play ball!

One of my all-time favorite yakuza manga ever written. Yoshino has such a great personality that you’ll immediately fall in love with her. Also, as someone who has chronic resting bitch face I can’t help but love her…I mean who doesn’t want two very dangerously hot yakuza to follow you everywhere and worship you?

If you want to try reading a manga and you typically read dark romances, this is the one. Seriously, it is basically like reading a dark romance except you get all the good bits in pictures.

The pacing is amazing, you’ll never be bored, and the art style is just chef’s kiss.

Kirishima Miyama: ML

Kirishima is just soooo fine, but you know who else is also fine? The second ML. And honestly, I don’t know which one I like better. Usually, I’m a second ML girlie but Kirishima is just something else.

He is unhinged and crazy but after he falls for Yoshino he is crazy about her. He literally begins to do everything for her even clean up after her & refill her condiments.

Yoshino Somei: FL

Yoshino is also a fantastic character, and definitely my favorite. She is smart, capable, and keeps her psycho fiancé/boyfriend on his toes. After growing up in a yakuza household surrounded by men, she knows just how to handle them.

In the beginning, she comes off as a sheltered pampered girl who was obviously raised in a wealthy household. After she moves to Tokyo she’s surprised by how her classmates treat her; it’s a shock after coming from Osaka, where everyone knew who she was and was scared to even talk to her. In Tokyo people aren’t as afraid of the Yakuza, and because Kirishima is popular with the girls, her classmates don’t like her.

She literally gives up a kidney to prove a point and and tell Kirishima and her classmates that she is not to be fucked with.
