A shy human. A minotaur sex worker. A powerful chemistry neither can deny. Tour guide Ivy has always secretly fantasized about minotaurs. So when a Beast Hunters tour to Motham City goes horribly wrong, she’s thrilled to be rescued by wickedly handsome minotaur, Bryn. Until she finds out that he runs a male escort agency with the sole purpose of pleasuring humans. And Ivy just isn’t that sort of girl…Bryn isn’t looking for love. He sells it. Besides he’s too busy caring for his disabled mom and four brothers and sisters to have time for romance. But when a sweet and innocent human literally catapults into his life, Bryn might just have to change his mind about love…Mail Order Minotaur is the first in The Motham City Monsters series. It’s a low angst sweet monster romance with plenty of spice and a guaranteed HEA, set in Motham City, a place where humans and monsters meet… and fall in love. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone.

so silly & so cute?

What a delightful read! If you’re in search of a predictable, low-conflict, happily-ever-after story, this one’s tailor-made for you. But fret not; besides being overwhelmingly adorable, it still maintains its steamy allure. Perhaps I should’ve included this in my books to read in the fall, as I believe it’s the perfect book to enjoy all snug on the couch while indulging in those Halloween cookies – if you’re in the right monster-loving demographic.

A true monster romcomantasy

I enjoyed Ivy, our FL. Despite her privileged background, she’s inexplicably drawn to Gotham Motham City. Ivy and the Minotaur share an instant connection, embracing the fated mates trope.

I also appreciated Bryn, our male Minotaur character. The author didn’t simplify him but rather crafted a complex character who was easy to admire. Bryn, who hasn’t been involved in sex work for some time, now manages the business while also taking care of his family. I mean who doesn’t love a hard-working, family-centric, often brooding, man minotaur?

Everything about this book is refreshingly simple and straightforward, including the writing, and I can’t help but feel a twinge of regret for not coming up with such a brilliant concept myself. It’s the perfect set-up to keep adding more romance books based in the same universe.

Which is exactly what this author plans on doing. & it looks like grumpy gargoyles are next…

My favorite line in the whole entire book:

“Nils was a great worker, with copious energy and copious amounts of cum, which human women seemed to just go Jello-O over.”
