Reverse harems seem to be all the rage these days and unfortunately I’ve read quite a few.

Losers (Book 1 of 2) by Harley Laroux

Tags: romance, MM, FM, BDSM

I have read this one and the part two. It starts out making you think it’s just a super smutty and very kinky dark romance but then tricks you and has pretty well-done themes about found family and dealing with awful parents of all varieties. A surprisingly pleasant time. It has a high 4.3 star rating on goodreads.

I’d been Prom Queen, Cheer Captain – high school’s most savage Queen Bee. I could have everything I wanted. Except them. The freaks, the weirdos, the school’s ultimate losers: Manson, Jason, Lucas, and Vincent. Our hatred for each other couldn’t keep us apart, not even when my own mistake got Manson expelled and made me the ultimate villain to the rest of them. One night was supposed to be enough. I couldn’t resist forever. For one night I gave myself over to the men I wasn’t supposed to want and satisfied the darkest parts of my soul. But some things are meant to stay in the dark. One night, and it was over. Nothing more than a game. Now, with college behind me, our worlds collide yet again. Four men, all willing to share me as their plaything until my debt to them is paid. Another game to satiate my dark cravings, the twisted rules of which bring us all even closer than before. But games aren’t meant to last. When the debt is paid and the game is done, what if I don’t want to walk away?

Psycho Shifters (Book 1 of 6) by Jasmine Mas

Tags: fantasy, omegaverse, MM, FM, shapeshifters, Fae, bully romance

I’ve also read this one, and I love this author. It only has a 3.93 rating on Goodreads, which make sense tbh, because this one is not for the faint of heart and definitely not for those who hate bully romances.

Amazon

Fight like a girl…or a shifter of lore. After growing up with nothing, I’ve finally found my path to freedom: I’m a shifter, an elite soldier who transforms into a monster. All I have to do is survive. I didn’t count on my three 6’5 roommates. Covered in tattoos, jeweled, and horned, these are like no men I’ve ever dealt with before. They don’t think I belong. They don’t think I’m strong enough for war. They don’t think I can fight. I’m about to prove them wrong. The only problem, can I survive them discovering the secrets of my past? In the battle for life and death, everyone is so much more than they seem. Jax, Ascher, and Cobra are going to be devastated when they discover my truth…just wait until they see my shifted form.

Poison Roses (Book 1 of 4) by Jaymin Eve and Tate James

Tags: romance, dark, contemporary, musicians, crime, mafia

Again I’ve read all four books in this series and it has a 4.37 rating on Goodreads. This is for you if you like a LOT of plot in with your romance/smut. The plot for this is very all over the place and covers a lot of events (mafia, childhood drama, world-famous band drama and more), but it’s a fun read for all 4 books.

You know that saying, things can’t possibly get worse? They always can. I thought I’d hit rock bottom when I turned sixteen. The day I broke my first love’s heart, ending things before I could ruin his career as a rock star. But damn, was I wrong. Things got progressively worse from that moment on, until now. Eight years later, when I find myself homeless, jobless, covered in blood, and running from a ghost of my past. Angelo Ricci–the second boy I ever loved–knows I saw him shoot a man. He’s coming for me, has men out all over the city looking for me, and if they find me I’m as good as dead. But I’m not giving up so easily. I’ll do whatever it takes to escape the Ricci family’s wrath, even if it means seeking sanctuary with the most unlikely, and unwilling of allies. Bellerose is the hottest rock band in the world right now–in popularity and looks–and it’s just my luck that I stumble into their laps while running for my life. It’s not the best plan to hide out on their tour, but it’s the best I’ve got. Except, the only person that Bellerose’s frontman hates more than Angelo Ricci… might be me. Too damn bad. Jace owes me. After all, I’m Billie Bellerose. Poison Roses is book ONE of FOUR in the Boys Of Bellerose series. This is a mafia/rockstar reverse harem romance series with dark elements and gripping cliffhangers throughout. Content is intended for a mature audience.

The Lost Siren (Book 1 of 7) by Raven Storm

Tags: fantasy, romance, paranormal, dragons, magic, shapeshifters

I’ve read this one too, and it does only have a 3.30 rating on Goodreads…I think that’s not too bad for a Reverse Harem. I mean, come one were not reading this for its contribution to high literature. Also, it has a 4.0 rating on Amazon. But this one didn’t really impress me – the smut was meh, the characters were cardboard, and the plot was lazy.

A human female born into a breeding manor never has a choice…I am a slave, but at least I am alive. When the man with wings and scales gave me a second choice-I took it. The others of his kind pin me with hungry eyes, but I’ll do what I must to survive. I’ll preside over their Draken Games-and choose a winner every night to share my bed. The alternative is death.

Bite of Loyalty (Book 1 of 4) by R.L. Caulder

Tags: fantasy, vampires, paranormal

Ok lets just assume from now on I’ve read all of these because I’m currently having a small personal crisis about how many reverse harems I’ve actually read. 4.06 star rating on Goodreads and I’ve already done a full review (here) on how this is actually the better version/dupe of Zodiac Academy.

Being the sole survivor of the Van Helsing family was never a burden I wanted to carry. Yet here I was, an orphan with a score to settle against Dracula for orchestrating the near genocide of my bloodline. One small kink in that plan: I was turned into the blood sucking creature that I was born to destroy. Being admitted into the Dark Imaginarium Academy to hone my new skills as a vampire, and to survive the blood lust, was the first step towards achieving that particular goal. No one was prepared for me…A vampire slayer amidst their ranks. But I wasn’t prepared for them. Lincoln, Andrei, and Drake. They weren’t going to let me get my revenge without blood being spilled. Luckily, I’m okay with coating my nails with the entrails of anyone who stands in my way. My name is Alina Van Helsing and I’m out for blood.

Prey: Imperium Protectors (Book 1 of 17?!) by L.V. Lane

Tags: omegaverse, fantasy, paranormal, shapeshifters

Ok, while I might have read the first 2/3 books in this series, I don’t remember there being 17????

Amazon

I am prey. This is not pity talking, this is an acknowledgment of a fact. I am small and weak; I am an Omega. I am a prize that men war over. For a year I have hidden in the distant corner of the Empire. But I am running out of food, and I am running out of options. That I must leave soon is not a decision for today, though, but a decision for tomorrow. Only tomorrow’s choices never come. For tonight brings strangers who remind me that I am prey. Publisher’s Note: Prey is a fantasy reverse harem omegaverse with three stern Alphas, an Alpha wolf-shifter, and a stubborn Omega prey. It includes smoking hot sexual situations, spankings, and domestic discipline.
