Yoojin is an F-ranker overshadowed by his little brother, an S-ranker. All he does is get in his brother’s way, causing trouble wherever he goes. When a seemingly routine dungeon raid goes wrong and costs Yoojin his brother’s life, Yoojin decides to use the wish granted by clearing the dungeon to reset his timeline. The plan was to lead a quiet life from now on… but now it turns out he can help other people become S-rankers?! Maybe this is Yoojin’s chance at building his own entourage of powerful metahumans… but it may be easier said than done.
Firstly, this is not a BL webtoon; it is labeled as an action webtoon. I really like the plot of this webtoon: the older brother is an F-rank, but with his support skills make him basically just as powerful as everyone else.
Yoojin, our mc, is a ‘custodian,’ which means he can give buffs to people he has custody of. So, basically all the S-ranks become interested in him because he can amplify their powers. In short he becomes a dad adopting a bunch of powerful people/animals.
This webtoon is basically the ‘action’ version of all the time travel/reincarnation romance webtoons that are currently popular. After he went back in time, suddenly all the important people in the world are interested in him.
At times, it can be a bit frustrating because it’s hard to like the powerful younger brother after everything he did even if he had a good reason.
“It’s not romance-focused, per se and I say that specifically because this is not a romance novel but there are still bits of bl inserted in there.
I could also argue that this is a harem novel that’s not a harem novel because all the side characters lose their personality with how much they cling and stick to the main character. There’s just no funny business going on, y’know.”

This review is perfect because while it is not a BL novel it’s clear the author/writer/artist?? is familiar with the genre. Also, this webtoon is full of misunderstandings due to terrible communication between the brothers sooo 4/5 stars.
